Monday Advice

If you haven't, then go forth and rent/view Bubba Ho-Tep right now.

I'll wait.

I heartily concur. BHT is one of the best little movies most people have never heard of. How can you go wrong with an ancient evil in a cowboy hat, The King, and JFK? The special effects are low budget, but the writing and acting are first rate, and the music is good, too.

It's cruel, heartless and wrong, but while they were still trying to diagnose that disease killing the people at that nursing home in Toronto, we referred to it as Bubba Hoser-Tep.

Dang, I wanted to see that when it was in the theaters. BAW, did you get to see Serenity yet? Best sci fi movie since Bladerunner IMHO.

Okay, Brad. I have some free time on Saturday, and Hublet will keep The Boy, so if you want to we can go see Serenity. How many times will this be for you? :)

Cannot say publicly because that will ruin any credibilty I have, but for those of us without home theaters, this movie does have to be seen on the big screen. Yes, I'll go again, BAW, my only disappointment being I want Hublet to see it, too! What if I line up a sitter?

Thanks for reminding me of Bubba Ho Tep. Just moved it to the top of my 100+ Netflix queue.
