Obligatory Monday Post

Okay, so The Boy waited until he got to daycare to vomit on me, thus truncating my Monday.

Read this article and the responses for your Monday dose of academia and politics.

Also, I would just like to go on record as saying that the movie Robots? Sucked. And this from someone who always stops to watch Big Trouble in Little China whenever it's on TV. So it's not like my standards are super high, you know? When fart jokes don't even get laughs from eight-year-old boys, well, you've done something wrong, is all I'm saying.

Fart jokes are a left-brain activity; and the left brain is not fully developed yet in 8-year-olds.

We didn't really like it either...and I love a fart and/or a fart joke. We even saw it on the IMAX - still not wonderful.

But have you seen The Incredibles?

Belle -

We own The Incredibles, and The Boy watches at least a part of it every day.

His confusion about Edna Mode's gender amuses me no end--"Is that little guy a mean guy?"

"Edna is a girl."

"Oh...is he a mean guy?"

I love Big Trouble in Little China. Even Kim Cattrall can't spoil the cheesy goodness of that movie.

I'm looking forward to your "Sin City" post. I know you, BAW, and I don't know if you'll love it or hate it.
